Another Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) Variant Spotted In GeekBench

Another Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) Variant Spotted In GeekBench

Getting a streamlined model name?

While we are still fresh from the launch of the Galaxy S9 and S9+, it looks like Samsung is preparing for a new budget mid-range model with the Galaxy J8 (2018). While we reported about it last month, it seems that there’s another Galaxy J8 (2018) variant in the works, based on this GeekBench result.

This variant, carrying the model number SM-J800FN, will sport an Exynos 7870 processor with 3GB of RAM. Unlike the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) launched last month, the Galaxy J8 (2018) will come with Android Oreo out of the box.

No other specs are revealed, but given the capabilities of the two-year-old Exynos 7870, we are guessing that the Galaxy J8 (2018) might have a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5.5-inch HD display if we based it on the other Galaxy J8 (2018) variant spotted last month in GeekBench.
