ASUS Officially Launches ZenPad Series of Tablets, Prices Start At Php 6K

The ZenPads arrive in the PH

Just like they promised, ASUS officially launched their new line of ZenPad tablets in the PH today, joined by members of the media and select users. And just like we saw earlier, the company is launching three versions of the ZenPad locally – the 7-inch Zenpands Z170CG, Z370CG and the high end 8-inch ZenPad S Z580CA.

ASUS Zenpad S 8 Z580CA specs:

  • Intel Atom Z3560/Z3580 quad-core 64-bit processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 8-inch QXGA panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 2048 x 1536 resolution
  • 64GB storage
  • 8-megapixel rear camera
  • 5-megapixel front camera
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, Miracast
  • 15.2Wh Li-polymer battery
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop

Zenpad

ASUS Zenpad Z370CG specs

  • Intel Atom x3-C3230 quad-core processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 7-inch, WXGA display with Gorilla Glass protection, 1280 x 800 resolution
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • 8-megapixel rear camera with AF
  • 2-megapixel front camera
  • 3G
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, Miracast
  • Android 5.0
  • 13Wh Li-polymer battery

ASUS Zenpad C Z170CG specs

  • Intel Atom x3 C3230 quad-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 7-inch WSVGA IPS display, 1024 x 620 resolution
  • 16GB of interntal storage, expandable via microSD
  • 2-megapixel rear camera
  • VGA front facing camera
  • Dual-SIM
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Miracast
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop

The entry level Z170CG is priced at Php 5995, while the Z370CG is priced at Php 7995. The Zenpad S is priced at Php 16995.

ASUS also launched their ZenPad PowerCase, which is an elegant way to extend the power capacity of the ZenPads without carrying a separate powerbank. The ZenPad PowerCase attaches to the back of the ZenPad elegantly, making it sit flush on the device. The ZenPad PowerCase is priced at Php 1295.

  1. Yeah the zenpad s 8 released here in ph is truly pricey and expensive for a tablet. They literally dont have the right to higher their tablet price than the one from Apple’s.. Ipad mini 4 is coming and the mini 3 will soon have the 15k price range. Though it doesnt have the most powerful specs in the world, it will give you the best and smoothest tablet experience.

    Asus should atleast release a 16 or 32 gb version and price it around 10k and im sold. Im sure its going to sell like hotcakes too. If not, ill go with the mini 3 this xmas season. Im sure a lot of filipinos wouldnt buy an android tablet thats really expensive. 🙂
