ASUS Makes the ROG Flow X13 Official in the Philippines

After it was revealed last month at CES 2021, ASUS is making the ROG Flow X13 avaialble in the Philippines, along with revealing its official price for all three variants. Making this gaming laptop unique is that it is the first 2-in-1 convertible gaming laptop from ROG, and the smallest gaming laptop from the ASUS sub-brand. Paired with the ROG XG Mobile, the ROG Flow X13 is set to be the most powerful ultraportable gaming notebook.

The ROG Flow X13 is powered by Ryzen 5000-series processors and rocks a GTX1650 GPU inside its slender chassis. The internal GPU can hit clock speeds of up to 1255mhz  at 35w in Turbo Mode with ROG Boost. Configuration options include up to 32GB LPDDR4X-4266 RAM, which is more power efficient than conventional LPDDR4 RAM. SSD storage can be configured at up to 1TB.

Its 2-in-1 design includes a 360-degree hinge for using it in various modes, support for ASUS active pen for drawing or scribbling notes, Gorilla Glass protection, and an immersive 13-inch 4K display with Pantone certification and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Keeping it cool includes the use of liquid metal, two heat pipes, and all-new Dual Arc Flow fans.

To further boost its gaming capabilities, the ROG XG Mobile eGPU can be configured with either an RTX3070 or RTX3080 GPU and uses a custom PCIe 3.0 x8 interface to ensure 63Gbps of bandwidth for the GPU. The 29mm thin module is also a multi-port hub, housing four USB-A 3.0 Gen 1 ports, a full-sized SD card slot, Gigabit Ethernet port, and DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0a display outputs. Powering both the ROG Flow X13 and XG Mobile is a 280W power adapter, though the ROG Flow X13 can be charged using USB-C when using it without the ROG XG Mobile.

The ROG Flow X13 will be available in the Philippines by end of February and will come in three variants. The first variant that will be sold will have a Ryzen 9-5900HS processor that is paired with 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, and a GTX1650 GPU. This model is priced at Php 99,995 and comes bundled with a Chakram Core Gaming Mouse, ASUS Active Pen, and ASUS 13″ sleeve.

A more affordable version will arrive in March, and it comes with a Ryzen 7-5800HS processor with the same RAM, SSD, and GPU configuration. This variant will be priced at Php 89,995 and will have the same bundle as the Ryzen 9-5900HS variant.

The top-tier SuperNova Edition will get a special metal nameplate with an iridescent finish and is powered by a ROG-exclusive Ryzen 9-5980HS processor, 32GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, and a GTX1650 GPU. This variant will also come with the ROG XG Mobile that is equipped with an RTX3080 GPU. The SuperNova edition is priced at Php 189,995 and comes bundled with an XBox wireless controller (for the first owners), Chakram Gaming Mouse, and ROG 13″ Sleeve and will be available in February.

For the ROG XG Mobile, both RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 variants will be available by Q2 of 2021 and will be priced at Php 69,995 and Php 89,995 respectively.
