No more hurdles
It is finally coming: after dealing with a few delays, ASUS is finally pushing Android Pie to the OG ROG Phone. This is after a few days it has rolled out Android 10 to the ZenFone 5Z.
Like the Android 10 update for the ZenFone 5Z, the OG ROG Phone’s Android Pie update removes several ZenUI bloatware apps and comes with a reorganized settings panel and updated UI for Mobile Manager, Contacts, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, and Weather.
Key Android Pie features like Navigation gestures and Adaptive Battery also arrive on the OG ROG Phone, and ROG Phone-exclusive apps like Game Genie and Armoury Crate get updated as well. The update is being rolled out in stages so expect to get the update on your phone soon.
