ASUS Rolling Out Android 10 to the ZenFone 5Z

The update removes a bunch of bloatware

After it has rolled out Android 10 to the ZenFone 6 last month, ASUS is reportedly rolling out the latest Android version to the ZenFone 5Z. This is the second major Android update for theĀ  2018 budget flagship phone.

Carrying version number 100.04.44.98, the said update is for the ZS620KL variant. Aside from Android 10, a bunch of ZenUI bloatware such as Page Marker, ZeniMoji, Selfie Master has been removed, along with a few rearrangements for the settings menu and updated APN settings.

No word yet if the update is rolling out globally, so keep on checking System updates to see if you are ready to update your phone.
