ASUS Set To Ship ZenFone 4 Range In August

Expect an announcement next month

You won’t have to wait long for ASUS’ products to start hitting the shelves, according to DigiTimes. According to industry sources, the new ZenFone 4 family of phones will start shipping in August, after being delayed for four months.

ASUS originally set the release date for the new phones in April, but for some reason or other their release dates got pushed back way beyond their expected announcement during this year’s COMPUTEX. With an August announcement and release schedule, the Taiwanese company will be running into stiff competition for the higher-tier ZenFone 4 models, since companies like Sony, HTC and Huawei are all expected to announce flagship smartphones in Berlin, during IFA at the tail end of the month.

Currently the only ZenFone 4 smartphone announced has been the dual-camera ZenFone 4 Max.
