Peeps not wanting to flash their Zenfone 2 Lasers to get a taste of Android Marshmallow, rejoice! The Taiwanese company is finally rolling out the Marshmallow update to their Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL today. The update will bring the device to Android Marshmallow and will remove duplicate apps in ZenUI that’s also present in stock Android. That means ASUS Email, ASUS Calendar and ASUS Messaging will be replaced by Gmail, Google Calendar and Messenger. The new Marshmallow update will also bring improvements to battery life, thanks to Doze.
The update is rolling out in waves, so go to Settings -> About -> System Update to see if your phone is eligible to download the update.
