Will this new ASUS device be powered by a Snapdragon 835?
Now that we know what the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 has in store for us, we eagerly await the lineup of phones that has this CPU running the show. With CES 2017 right around the corner, we might not be waiting for much longer. Taiwanese brand, ASUS, sent out the tweet below on January 2

We’ve known for awhile that Qualcomm had plans of putting the Snapdragon 835 in the spotlight for CES 2017, but could ASUS be announcing one of the very first smartphones with this new flagship CPU? We’re already expecting two smartphone releases by the Taiwanese company, the Zenfone 3 Zoom and the recently “leaked” Zenfone VR, plus seen a new device just receive its TENAA certification so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to see other smartphone announcements in Vegas. If it is, indeed, powered by a Snapdragon 835, kudos for keeping it under wraps!
