ASUS Zenfone 2 Hacked To Run Windows 7

Well that’s one way to get Windows to run on your phone

When we first saw the ASUS Zenfone 2’s specs when it was announced back in January, we thought that it had more RAM than most Windows 8.1 tablets being sold in the market. Apparently that’s what XDA member Yua Ca Van thought too, and proceeded to hack the Zenfone 2 and installed Windows 7 on it.

While the hack shows Windows 7 running on the Zenfone 2, Van says that Windows 8 and even Windows 10 can be installed on the device, although you’ll need to use a different ISO. Even though the phone wasn’t designed for it, Windows 7 runs well on it, with no major bugs shown.

If you want to attempt the same thing yourself, be warned that the procedure is long, arduous and complex. If you think you’re up to the task, hit up the source link below to see how to do it.
