Meet the Cloudfone Excite 502D

If you didn’t know any better you’d probably think that the phone pictured above is a new Lumia handset from Nokia. However it actually is the Cloudfone Excite 502d, an entry-level 5-inch Android Jelly Bean smartphone from Cloudfone. The processor is just dual-core but it does have 1GB RAM which should help a lot with memory management and over-all performance. The story here though is not really about the internals but the hardware. The device looks awesome. We can probably say that this is the best looking 5-inch local branded smartphone we’ve ever seen, hehe.

They even have a strip seemingly made from carbon fiber at the top and bottom of the phone! Cool.

Gwapo.
Gwapo.

There’s no word yet on availability but we’re told it’s coming soon and it will be priced below Php7,000. We’ll post more as we get more information. That said, it looks like Cloudfone is finally back in the game! They’ve been without new releases for quite a while now (last model we liked was the Thrill 430x).

PS: We just unboxed their newest offering, the Cloudfone Thrill 450Q. Click here to check the post out.

  1. Sir im trying to get a best quality phablet. Thinking getting this cloudfone502d between 2 more fone like the V7 and the iceberg. If u are to recommend to a heavy office user and calls plus tons of note takings and presentations what would ur recommend? Thanks

  2. Matibay naman kaya?? Balita ko kasi mabagal ang service center ng Cloudfone, madami atang nag papagawa, ibig sabihin madaming nasisira.
