Dell’s Precision 3000 and 5000 Workstations Arriving Next Year, Starts At A Cool 90K

Want a sturdy, light and nearly bezel-less notebook?

Dell has officially announced that they are bringing in their Precision 3000 and 5000 Workstations to the PH next year. The new notebooks are veritable computing monsters, and will be able to tackle whatever task your business or office throws at them. Not content in just offering Intel’s new Skylake processors, the new notebooks can also be had with their Xeon processors. Paired with discrete graphics from either NVIDIA or AMD, these beastly notebooks are able to handle everything from rendering 3D video to playing the latest games.

Not that they’re supposed to be used as game machines, as these notebooks are aimed at the professional end of the spectrum, bearing certifications for various professional applications, as well as hardware customizations that allow them to be tailored to specific needs. They bear aluminum and carbon fiber bodies that make them tougher than your usual workstation while still having excellent thermal performance.

Both models have 15.6-inch display sizes, and the 5000 series can come with an ultra-sharp 4K IGZO display with tremendously small bezels. Both notebooks also have 100% minimum Adobe RGB color gamut, making them perfect for illustrators and photographers. Obviously that amount of features and specs don’t come cheap – the Precision 3000 starts at Php 90,000 for the base model while the 5000 starts at 125,000.
