GoPro Adds WiFi Functionality To Entry-level Cameras Via Hero+, Slashes Price of Session

A better, entry level alternative

While GoPro is currently THE action camera brand of choice for both daredevils and selfie addicts, their offerings aren’t what you’d call affordable by any means. While the entry-level Hero is relatively affordable (it’s listed in Kimstore at just Php 7,200) the device doesn’t have a WiFi feature that some action aficionados are clamoring for. Well, that’s changing with the Hero+ – the new action camera from GoPro comes in the same build as the previous entry-level device but now features WiFi connectivity out of the box.

GoPro’s also slashing a cool $100 off of their Hero 4 Session camera, bringing the price down to a measly $299 or Php 14K.
