Huge savings for people on a tight budget

Remember Happy Mobile and their Oracle smartphone? Well, the company is putting that particular phone on sale. Like, crazy, crazy sale – the Oracle, which originally retailed for around Php 10,999 is now priced at a mere 3,999. That’s more than 63% off of the sticker price when it went on sale a few months ago.

Happy Mobile Oracle specs

  • 1.5GHz Octa-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 5-inch HD OGS display
  • 8GB of storage, non-expandable
  • 13-megapixel rear camera with AF and flash
  • 8-megapixel front camera
  • Dual-SIM
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, USB OTG, Miracast
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 2100mAh battery

While the Oracle is getting a little long in the tooth (that 8GB of non-expandable storage isn’t going to help things) at just Php 4K it’s hard to ignore. If you’re interested in getting one, we recommend you hitting a Happy Mobile Kiosk near you for the device, just so you can pick one up before it’s all gone.

  1. Not bad for it’s (new) price. But not a big bargain as the discount seems to imply. 10,999 is overpriced when it was first launched, and now only a fool would buy at that price. They had to lower the price since the competition is offering way better phones for 6k or less.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa is similarly price with similar spec. The Oracle is classier looking. However, The Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa was promised an upgrade to Lollipop while this one will probably stay on Kitkat. To each his own…

Not hating or anything but from the start plang they obviously got things horribly wrong bu not doing market research.
    Tsk tsk….

  5. Hindi durable ang products nila, and i can say it based on my experience. The battery life is so short and it overheats. I was greatly dissapointed by it. I expected a lot since ang mahal niya compared to other products. Ive had a lot of phones in the past but this is by far the worst one i had.
