Here’s A List Of Samsung Phones That Will Receive Android Pie

Is your phone part of the list?

Samsung has a Christmas gift to Galaxy S9 and S9+ users in Europe by rolling out the official Android Pie build. Weighing at around 1.7GB, the update formally introduces One UI to Samsung’s 2018 flagship phones, along with the December 2018 security patch.

In addition to this earlier-than-expected rollout (the update should start rolling out by January 2019), Samsung revealed its roadmap for its phones eligible for Android Pie/One UI.

From the list, it is nice to see a number of entry-level Galaxy J-series phone to receive the update. However, there are a few omissions like the Galaxy A6 and A6+ and Galaxy Tab S4. Like any roadmap, things may change along the way, which means that Samsung may add or reduce devices receiving Android Pie/One UI.

Do remember that this update marks the debut of One UI, so unless you own a flagship Galaxy smartphone, you should manage your expectations in receiving the much-awaited update.
