HMD Global made some tweaks to this particular Android build
As promised, HMD Global announced that it is rolling out Android 8.1 to the Nokia 2. While there are concerns regarding the Nokia 2’s 1GB RAM, HMD Global promised that it included Android Go memory management improvements with the said update. This is the best remedy for HMD Global since the Nokia 2 is not an Andrpid Go device.
A caveat with this update is that Android Oreo won’t be available for Nokia 2 users in 34 countries and on 7 mobile networks. If you want to update your Nokia 2, visit this link and see if your phone qualifies for the update.
