The second Android Go device to receive Android Pie

HMD Global is staying true to its promise when it comes to Android updates. After updating the Nokia 2.1 to Android Pie (Go Edition) last February, it is the Nokia 1’s turn to receive the update.

Just like the update for the Nokia 2.1, the Android Pie update for the Nokia 1 is optimized for the phone’s meager specs. This means that you get all the new features of Android Pie—along with the latest security updates—while consuming as little internal storage as possible.

The update is being rolled out via OTA, so expect Nokia 1 devices to receive it in the coming weeks.
