Another bonus in addition to a sure upgrade to Oreo
We all know by now that most, if not all, Nokia phones will be upgraded to Android Oreo. It turns out that there’s more to that, as HMD Global Chief Product Manager Juho Sarvikas hints that they will be porting the Lumia Camera UI as well in a series of tweets

Just a quick backgrounder: The Lumia Camera UI was originally designed for Windows-powered Nokia phones back when it was acquired by Microsoft. Last July, HMD was able to get hold of 500 Nokia design patents—the Lumia camera UI included. What makes the UI stellar is its vast manual exposure control: users can adjust ISO, shutter speed, focusing, white balance, and more right at their fingertips.
As to when this will be made available is yet to be seen. With users complaining of the lackluster camera UI of HMD-era Nokia phones, seeing these phones equipped with the Lumia camera UI should please them.
