Another affordable 5G device from HONOR
Aside from the HONOR Play 4T, Play 4T Pro, and Play 4 Pro, the Huawei sub-brand is adding a fourth variant with the Play 4.
Official renders have surfaced, highlighting the Play 4’s three colors and a quad rear camera setup. The renders also confirm a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, so the Play 4 will most likely have an IPS display.
A previous TENAA listing revealed some key specs: 6.81-inch Full HD+ display, 4200mAh battery, 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage, and a quad rear camera setup consisting of two 2-megapixel cameras, a 12-megapixel camera, and a 64-megapixel main camera. The display will have a punch hole for the 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
The Play 4 is speculated to use a Dimensity 800 processor, since the Play 4 Pro will opt for a Kirin 820 SoC. No word yet on its official launch date.
