No less than Facebook CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg played a role in pushing for virtual reality as he took to the stage of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress. Facebook owns Oculus Rift, the company that makes the Gear VR, the virtual reality goggles being offered by Samsung. During the event Samsung also announced that those who pre-order their new flagship line-up will get the Gear VR for free. Does this apply to the Philippines? The awesome answer is YES.

For new Globe postpaid subscribers they can get it for free under their Globe Platinum Plan. Plans under this category start at 3799 and go up to 7999. Click here to go to their pre-order page.
