HP New Envy 14 (2021) Boasts a 16:10 Display

With HP updating its Envy line of laptops, the 14-inch model gets a 16:10 multi-touch display instead of the usual 16:9 panels used in most laptops. This change in aspect ratio claims to offer around 11% better viewing area. Also unique to the Envy 14 2021’s display is that it comes with a Delta E <2 color calibration, which is a first for the Envy 14.

As one of HP’s mid-range notebooks, the Envy 14 2021 gets Tiger Lake processors, optional GTX 1650Ti Max-Q discrete graphics, WiFi 6, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM and a 256GB NVMe SSD. HP did not mention if the Envy 14 2021 is EVO-certified, but HP claims up to 16.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Envy 14 2021 gives priority to privacy with its physical webcam shutter, dedicated mic mute key, and AI Noise removal.

With a starting price of $999(~Php 48.1k), the Envy 14 2021 appears to be a compelling mid-range laptop offering with those features.
