HP Slate 7 Now in the Philippines

It took them a while but finally HP Philippines is now offering the HP Slate locally. This 7-inch dual-core Android Jelly Bean tablet with expandable storage was announced way back in February. The specifications aren’t really mind-blowing or impressive but at least it’s worth considering given the surprisingly affordable price tag of Php7,990. Oh, it also comes in different colors so make sure you get the one that suits your taste or personality the best.

If you’re in the market for an Android tablet and this doesn’t appeal to you too much you can also check out the ASUS MemoPad (which is a little bit cheaper) or you might just want to wait it out for the new Nexus 7 to land in our part of the world.

It’s interesting to note though that HP has started to invest in Android devices. Hopefully in the next few months they start churning out better products with good features otherwise they’ll just get drowned out by the more established brands.
