Huawei Ascend W1 introduced to the Philippines

Huawei Philippines launched their newest smartphone yesterday — the Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8! Competitively priced at Php8,990, the Huawei Ascend W1 has a 4-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 800×480 resolution. It’s powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, Adreno 305 GPU) and 512MB RAM. For pictures it has a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing snapper for video calls. Over-all the spec sheet is pretty decent and the affordable price tag makes it a great alternative to people who are tired of Android and iOS, Windows fans looking for something other than devices from Nokia and HTC, and first-time smartphone buyers.
