Huawei Confirms P30 Unveiling Next Month

The launch will be in Paris like last year

While Huawei will have a presence at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month, the company will apparently be announcing the next iteration of its P series flagship a month later, in the city of lights. That’s according to Huawei Poland, which made the premature announcement on their website.

The company’s strong business position follows among others from the success of the sale of flagship smartphones – the P20 and Mate20 series combined with the continued demand for products from the medium price segment, among others P series smart. At the end of March this year Huawei will present in Paris the latest smartphones from the flagship P series.

Huawei’s March unveil for their next flagship, the P30 as it’s expected to be called, fits the same timeline as last year, when the company unveiled the world’s first triple-camera smartphone, the P20 Pro.

While rumors about the new P30 lineup are sparse as of the moment, you can expect better displays, more RAM, a bump to Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset as well as better cameras overall.

  1. I’m afraid that yet again we’re going to lose more than we are gaining with each ‘upgrade’, more RAM and ROM but probably no flexibility by means of a SD slot. More umpf battery-wise but we lost the replacement battery. Hopefully we get onscreen fingerprint next to face/iris recognition. Latest CPU and Android Pie pre installed. Personally I don’t care too much about full screen and rather have a chin with a physical home button combined with the return- and app button. Don’t really want a 1 Tb on board memory and rather have 128Gb with an SD slot!
