While we still wait for the Mate 40 series, Huawei announced the Enjoy 20 series in China. Both come with a 5G-ready Dimensity 720 processor, though both have different designs.
The Enjoy 20 employs a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD panel with a dewdrop notch for the 8-megapixel selfie snapper. Its square-shaped module at the back contains three cameras: 13-megapixel f/1.8 main camera, 5-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. You get a hefty 5000mAh battery that has 10w wired charging, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Enjoy 20 Plus, on the other hand, employs a notch-free 6.63-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90hz refresh rate. The 16-megapixel selfie snapper is hidden on a pop-up module, while the fingerprint scanner is found on the side. You also get 128GB of internal storage, though RAM options are 6GB and 8GB. For its Mate 30-inspired rear camera module, you get a 48-megapixel f/1.8 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Powering it is a 4200mAh battery with 40w SuperCharge.
The Enjoy 20 is priced at CNY 1699(~Php 12.1k) for the 4GB model and CNY 1899(~Php 13.5k) for the 6GB model, while the Enjoy 20 Plus is priced at CNY 2299(~Php 16.4k) for the 6GB model and  for the 8GB version. Both models will be available in China on September 10.
