Scoring the highest AnTuTu benchmark to date
While we are all busy with Huawei’s recently-launched P20 and P20 Pro, it would not be surprising to hear talks about the Mate 20. While the Mate 20 will launch later this year, the phone was spotted in AnTuTu sporting an insanely high score of almost 360k.
To give you an idea, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro—both sporting a Kirin 970 processor—scored almost 215k in AnTuTu. Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 2S, which sports a Snapdragon 845 processor, scored almost 271k in AnTuTu. Even the Galaxy S9 Plus does not come close either, as it scored around 245k with our AnTuTu test.
While the screenshots do not reveal much about the Mate 20’s processor, it is no secret that it will sport the upcoming Kirin 980 chip. As for the Kirin 980, it will be made using the 7nm process and will reportedly sport Cortex-A75 cores, a second-generation NPU, and support for Bluetooth 5.0.
