Earlier, Unbox published a leaked report on Huawei’s upcoming budget smartphone, the Snapdragon 435-bearing “Honor 6S”. Today, the company has officially unwrapped the handset as the Enjoy 6S, the newest member of the Enjoy series.
Huawei Enjoy 6S
- 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor
- 3GB RAM
- 5-inch HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 resolution
- 32GB internal storage, expandable via microSD
- 13-megapixel rear camera, f/2.2 aperture
- 5-megapixel front camera
- Dual SIM
- Fingerprint scanner
- 3020mAh battery
Unfortunately, there’s a lot of hardware downgrades from the earlier leaked details, but the Enjoy 6S still retains the budget-tier Snapdragon 435 as its processor. The pricing, however, leaves this particular smartphone much to be desired, when compared to alternatives.
The Enjoy 6S will be available in Chinese stores soon, with a price tag of $235 (~Php 12K). Given the specs, you’re better off with a different, more bang-for-your-buck handset. No word yet from Huawei on whether this phone will land in other markets.
