Huawei Teases MateBook D 15 PH Availability

It is the brand’s first Ryzen-powered laptop

After it was unveiled in China last November, Huawei Philippines announced that it will be bringing the Ryzen-powered Matebook D 15 to the Philippines.

An addition to the current MateBook lineup in the Philippines, the MateBook D 15 is powered by a Ryzen 5 3500U processor and Vega 8 GPU. The laptop can be configured with 8GB RAM and either 256GB SSD or 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD.

Other features include a 15-inch Full HD display, a decent set of ports (one USB-C 3.1, two USB-A 2.0, one USB-A 3.0, HDMI, and a headphone jack), and a 45wH battery with 65w USB charging.

There’s no official price for the MateBook D 15 for now, but expect it to have a sub-Php 35k price point based on its pricing in China, with taxes and duties factored in.
