Is This BlackBerry’s New Android Phone?

Would you buy something like this?

There have been fierce rumors about BlackBerry releasing phones powered by Android sooner rather than later to compliment their BlackBerry OS 10 powered offerings. While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, Twitter leakster @evleaks has revealed an image that may just be their next Android smartphone. While the image only shows the lower half of the purported device, it’s more than enough to show what the phone will eventually look like.

From the image, it seems like the phone is an Android take on BlackBerry’s square Passport, thanks to the amalgam of physical keys located below the display. From the image, it seems like the phone will sport Android 5.0 Lollipop, and would be nigh unusable with one hand. The tradeoff here is that you’ll be getting a much better typing experience, which is kind of okay with us.

What do you think? Do you like the idea of an Android phone having a physical keyboard? Let us know in the comments.
