Lenovo Offers Budget Phablet In Time For Holidays

Lenovo definitely isn’t shying away from the competition when it comes to bang-for-your-buck smartphones. They just announced the Lenovo A850, a 5.5-inch phablet running on a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It’s a nice big slab of sexy priced competitively that will definitely give even local brands a run for their money. It might be a little more expensive than the budget phablets offered by other brands but Lenovo has the advantage of stronger and more reliable branding.

Actually if you take a look at the specifications it’s not bad at all! It’s very competitive and it’s actually cheaper than some of the phablets being offered by local brands (Starmobile Diamond V7 is still priced more than Php12,000). Our only concern really is the display quality since it’s just qHD. If they made this HD this would instantly get our stamp of approval.

Anyway, we’ll ask Lenovo if we can borrow a review unit. 🙂
