Quadcore (yes you read that right) tablet from Lenovo

Lenovo unveils the IdeaTab K2 and IdeaTab S2

For the longest time I’ve boxed in Lenovo as a company that just makes computers and laptops. However it looks like they’re really going aggressive in different product categories. They just showed off their two newest tablets, the IdeaPad K2 and IdeaPad S2, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) at Las Vegas.

The IdeaPad K2 (photo above) is a monstrous quad-core high-end tablet for business users. It has a Full HD IPS 10″ display, an 8MP rear camera, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. No pricing or release date yet but expect this one to be very pricey.

The IdeaPad S2 (photo below) packs a dual-core processor, 10″ screen, and runs Android 4.0 as well. It also comes with a keyboard dock attachment which kinda makes it look like an Ultrabook or MacBook Air. Combined with the keyboard dock you can get up to 20 hours of battery life. No pricing and availability.

Both these tablets are pretty hot in terms of specs and looks! I just hope the price isn’t blazing high as well, hehe.
