The smartphone brand is back
Lenovo Mobile is returning to the Philippines this month after 2 years of absence. The company had a rough go in the Philippine market in the last few months of 2017 and wound down smartphone operations around February of 2018.
The company is making a comeback and is opening its flagship store on Lazada come May 23, 2020. Confirmed models for the brand’s comeback are the K5 Play and K5 Pro. While both phones are technically legacy models, they’re being offered at very reasonable prices: the K5 Play will go for Php 3,990, while the K5 Pro will be priced at Php 6,990.

The brand will be skipping their current generation devices like the K10 Plus, K10 Note, Z6, and Z6 Pro since these models will be superseded by 2020 models anyway within a month or two – at least, that’s according to Lenovo’s brand rep.
