Lenovo’s Groundbreaking ThinkPad X1 Fold Arrives in the Philippines

With foldable devices slowly becoming available in the mainstream, Lenovo is taking things up a notch by bringing over the first laptop with a foldable display to the Philippines.

Called the ThinkPad X1 Fold, this new laptop incorporates a 13.3-inch 2K OLED display that can be folded for a variety of use cases. Powering it is Intel’s latest processors that is paired with Hybrid Technology and UHD integrated graphics. Accompanying the ThinkPad X1 Fold is a built-in kickstand, removable keyboard, Mod pen, and a battery life that is rated for up to 11 hours.

For the folding mechanism, the ThinkPad X1 Fold uses a unique multi-link torque hinge mechanism, along with carbon fiber plates behind the polymer OLED display to ensure maximum durability. This mechanism ensures the laptop’s durability for around 30,000 folds, ensuring up to 3 to 4 years of use. There’s also a leather outer cover to make it more premium.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold will be priced at Php 208,500 and will come with an 8th-gen Core i5 Processor and 256GB NVMe SSD. The ThinkPad X1 Fold will be available on an order-masis.
