Can you say monster?
Remember Chinese manufacturer LeTV? The creator of the LeTV Max (pictured above) that has 4GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 810 processor? Well, rumor has it that the successor to the Max, the Max 2, will be a bigger monster compared to the original.
According to rumors, the Max 2 will have a whopping 6GB of RAM onboard, as well as Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor. 6GB is more than the RAM of most notebooks out in the market. You usually hear about record-breaking phones made by more well-known international brands like Samsung or LG, but LeTV isn’t shy about releasing phones that has the first of a new tech – their Max smartphone was one of the first phones to sport a USB Type-C connector ahead of everybody else, after all.
Aside from the monstrous hardware, the new phone is slated to carry a 23-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s IMX300 sensor and an aperture of f/2.0, along with a fast AF system. The body will sport glass on both sides, and the bezels are reportedly thinner than the original model. The phone is expected to make a Q1 2016 debut.
