If you dig LG’s design language for the Velvet but is turned off by its rather expensive asking price, the Korean brand is offering a more affordable model with the Q92 5G. You still get a 5G-ready Snapdragon 765G processor, 128GB internal storage, and stereo speakers, along with an IP68 rating and MIL-STD-810G certification, and roughly the same rear camera setup: 48-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with OIS, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and an additional 2-megapixel macro camera.
What’s different then? Aside from lower RAM at 6GB, you are getting a smaller 6.67-inch IPS display with a thick top and bottom bezel. The selfie snapper is 32-megapixels, and you get a smaller 4000mAh battery with support for 15w charging.
Despite those downgrades, the Q92 5G’s KRW 499,000(~Php 20.4k)Â asking price makes it a better deal than the Velvet.
