It will be different from the G8 ThinQ
While LG has confirmed their presence at MWC 2019, new rumors suggest that the South Korean brand may launch two phones: one being the G8 ThinQ and the other being their 5G-ready phone.
Speaking of the latter, the 5G LG phone’s key feature is its vapor chamber cooling system, which is claimed to be several times bigger than that found on the V40 ThinQ. Other features include a Snapdragon 855 processor and a generous 4000mAh battery.
As much as we look forward to the G8 ThinQ and LG’s 5G phone, they might not arrive on our shores. According to Revu, LG has reportedly shut down its smartphone business in the Philippines.
While there is no official statement as of this writing, the last post on LG Mobile Philippines’ Facebook page is a Christmas-related post.
