Galaxy S5 gets it ahead of the Galaxy S4 GPE
Own a Samsung Galaxy S5? You’ll be happy to know that it will probably get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the next few weeks. Sam Mobile is reporting that Polish owners of the Galaxy S5 have managed to get their update via OTA, which means that it won’t be long before other S5 owners in other regions get their update as well.
It’s also a bit odd that the Galaxy S5 gets the Lollipop update before the Google Play Edition of the Galaxy S4. Google Play Edition devices are usually the first ones to get the update, next to Google Nexus devices.
