Huawei’s new flagship creates crazy lines and queues in stores
Huawei’s brand new flagships has officially arrived in stores today, and holy moly do people want a piece of the new Mates. The first-day sale of the new phones has been met with long lines in multiple Huawei Experience stores nationwide, from Glorietta and SM North EDSA in Manila, SM Cebu, and SM Davao. It’s one of the biggest and warmest receptions we’ve ever seen for a flagship phone before, which speaks volumes about the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro’s appeal to the general populace.
That appeal has apparently convinced many people who used to use competing for flagship phones to make the jump to Huawei’s offering. In fact, the first person in line in Huawei’s Experience Store in Glorietta was previously an Apple iPhone user before he made a jump to the new Mate 20 Pro.
