Those cameras can do serious work
Xiaomi’s Mi CC9 Pro is one crazy phone for its penta-rear camera setup AND its 108-megapixel main rear camera. Is the phone’s packed spec sheet any good? For the guys at DxOMark, it certainly gets the job done. The Mi CC9 Pro scored an overall score of 121 at DxOMark, making it share the top spot together with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
While the Mi CC9 Pro scored lower than the Mate 30 Pro when it comes to photo, Xiaomi’s latest phone beats Huawei’s flagship in the video category. For the photo category, the Mi CC9 Pro shines in autofocus and zoom, with the latter credited to its non-periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. For DxOMark, having two dedicated zoom units helped the Mi CC9 Pro produced great telephoto and portrait shots.
When it comes to low light, the Mi Cc9 Pro could not match the Mate 30 Pro’s low-light capabilities, as noise is visible when shooting outdoors and color cast is noticeable when shooting cityscapes.
As for videos, the Mi CC9 Pro’s score of 102 makes it the highest-scoring phone in the said category. DxOMark commends its vivid and well-rendered colors, along with a fast and accurate autofocus system.
