To come with a Snapdragon 855 processor
After it was announced October last year, new reports about Microsoft’s intriguing dual-display device have surfaced. According to WindowsCentral, the foldable will have two 5.6-inch AMOLED panels with a 4:3 aspect ratio and an 1800 x 1350 resolution. Both panels support the Surface Pen, making it a potential device for creatives. The right display will have an 11-megapixel camera that works for taking selfies and photos.
As for the internals, the Surface Duo will have a Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB/256GB storage. The battery is rather small at 3460mAh, though those who have tested the Surface Duo claim that it can last for a day’s worth of use. It will be a 4G/LTE device, so 5G is out of the question.
WindowsCentral reports that Microsoft employees outside the Surface Hardware Division are testing the Surface Duo, as Microsoft plans to launch it earlier than the original Holiday 2020 release.
