Mid-Ranged Dual Camera Equipped ASUS Device Spotted on GFXBench

Budget-Friendly Version of the Zenfone Zoom?

Asus recently launched the second iteration of their Zoom device, which saw a much needed design re-haul and the inclusion of dual rear cameras; something we’ve been seeing a lot on most mid to flagship tier smartphones as off late. It seems like the Taiwanese company may be doubling down on the dual camera craze, as a new device — with the designation Asus X00ID — has been spotted on GFXBench and has been making its rounds in online new outlets.

At its core, the X00ID sports a 1.4GHz octa-core processor from Qualcomm (Could we be seeing the Snapdragon 430 again?), 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 505 GPU, and 32GB of storage; all of which will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat. As mentioned above, the device will have dual rear cameras: one 12-megapixel plus another 5-megapixel camera. As for its selfie shooter, you’re looking at a megapixel count of 8-megapixels. You’ll be viewing all the photos you’ve taken with the device on a 5.5-inch HD display.

Seeing phones outed on GFXBench usually means that the phone should be officially announced soon, so until then we sit tight to se what Asus has in store for us yet again.
