Motorola P40 Renders Reveal Punch Hole Display, 48-Megapixel Camera

It looks more refined than its predecessor

Punch hole displays and high megapixel cameras appear to be the big trend for 2019, and Motorola is certainly joining the bandwagon with the upcoming P40. In a 360-degree render shared by 91Mobiles, the P40’s hole punch display looks similar to the one found on the Galaxy A8s and Honor V20. Staying with the Motorola aesthetic, you have the Motorola branding found at the bottom bezel.

Going to the rear, you have a curved glass back, an embedded Motorola logo on the fingerprint scanner and a dual rear camera setup. One of the modules will use a 48-megapixel snapper as indicated in the markings. The other camera is most likely a depth sensor.

Other features of the P40 include a headphone jack, USB-C, metal and glass build, and a Full HD+ display resolution. No word about the specs, but we expect it to use the latest Snapdragon 600-series processor or possibly a Snapdragon 710.
