iPad Mini with Retina Display

Alongside the iPad Air, Apple announced the new iPad Mini with Retina Display. This is pretty much the answer to the prayers of a lot of iPad Mini owners and we’re pretty sure that this baby will fly off the shelves come December when people get their bonuses, lol. Other than the improved display (2048 x 1536), the internals also got an overhaul. The new iPad Mini with Retina Display runs on Apple’s 64-bit A7 processor. That’s a huge leap considering the internals of the first generation iPad Mini is similar to the iPad 2.

Unfortunately it won’t launch the same time as the iPad Air but Apple did say that it will be available “later in November”.

Two thumbs up Apple! We’re definitely going to get one as soon as it’s available locally!
