Thank you Nokia!

We earlier reported that Nokia donated 50,000 Euros for Yolanda relief operations here in the Philippines. We’re happy to share with everyone an update about that. Nokia went above and beyond the 50,000 Euros and they’ve actually donated over 250,000 Euros already through the Red Cross, Red Crescent, and Oxfam organizations! On top of that they also gave 1,000 mobile phones that can be used on the ground. I don’t know what handset they sent but they should probably send over the old 3210s because those phones could really take a beating, lol.

Anyway, we’re very thankful for the support and help Nokia. We feel much better about paying more than Php30,000 for the Nokia Lumia 1020 now. At least we know the company we bought from cares about the Philippines. Cheers!
