The start Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference is only a few days away, and many people are expecting their mobile phone services to suffer as part of the security arrangements for the visiting heads of state in the PH. According to NTC, there is no order to disrupt cellphone signals near or within APEC venues currently, though that may change as situations dictate.

Both Smart and Globe has assured the public that their services are working normally though Mon Isberto, PLDT and Smart Communication public affairs head said that it may be affected in some areas by public safety measures for the APEC Summit.

Best thing to do now is just stay at home if you don’t have anything important to do during the APEC summit.
