Gold iPhones because reasons
If Ed Hardy t-shirts, Uggs and terribly tacky sense of style isn’t enough to show the world how, uh, “hardcore” you are, you’ll be happy to know that Chinese frim NavJack will soon be offering a 24K gold plated iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, because….reasons, we guess?
Anyway, the gold plating completely wraps around the two devices and even the Touch ID embedded home button isn’t spared from all the gold treatment. Instead of regular ol’ aluminum, the back cover has been replaced by what looks to be a carbon fiber material that is, you guessed it – plated in 24K carat gold.
The result is a phone that even the Situation would find too gaudy to use in public, though spray-on tan aficionados may still want it given its unique appeal. There’s no price yet for these two affronts to good taste.
