OnePlus 6 Scores 96 in DxOMark

Beating the iPhone 8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8’s DxOMark scores

When the OnePlus 6 was launched, one of its key upgrades involves its cameras. Aside from having bigger pixels, the OnePlus 6’s dual rear cameras sports improved OIS, low-light, and portrait mode features.

Recently, DxOMark released its scores for the OnePlus 6, and the phone’s cameras deliver with an overall score of 96—which is higher than the overall scores of the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

On a closer look, the OnePlus 6 scored 100 for photo, with DxOMark praising the OnePlus 6’s autofocus, exposure, and detail retention. Low light performance is on par with other flagships, though the cameras begin to struggle at extremely low light (5 Lux).

Going to the OnePlus 6’s video score, DxOMark gave it a score of 87. For the video score, DxOMark praises the OnePlus 6’s autofocus, stating that it adapts well in changing lighting conditions. On top of that, the OnePlus 6’s stabilization performs well.
