OPPO Reno 2: First Shots In Hanoi

OPPO’s new mid-ranger takes great shots

We’ve already told you about the OPPO Reno 2’s video capabilities, as well as how it feels in the hand. But how does OPPO’s new quad-camera mid-ranger perform when you’re actually using it for photos?

Pretty good, as it turns out – we took the Reno 2 with us to Hanoi to see how it performs as our main sightseeing camera, and the phone doesn’t disappoint at all.

We went sightseeing in Hanoi’s different tourist spots, and the main 48-megapixel camera performed admirably no matter the situation.

It took excellent photos both indoors and outdoors, and even in locations where the lighting wasn’t ideal.

The phone’s camera also handled HDR quite well, still producing usable photos in backlit situations as well.

The wide-angle camera came in handy when taking photos of large vistas and sweeping landscapes, which we like.

In any case, the Reno 2’s camera delivers the goods just as OPPO promised – we’ll have to see how the rest of the phone performs when we hand out our verdict in a few days.
