OPPO Reno 2 to Come in Three Variants

The Reno 10x Zoom will remain as the top variant for the line

OPPO is preparing for the Reno 2 line for its August 28 launch, and new reports confirm that there will be three variants.

The vanilla Reno 2 will be the top-tier device among the three, as it will sport a Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. As for the cameras, the Reno 2’s quad rear camera setup will consist of a 48-megapixel f/1.8 Sony IMX 586 main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 13-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 charging. Like its predecessor, the Reno 2 will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16-megapixel shark fin front camera.

The Reno 2Z has roughly the same specs as the Reno 2 save for an Helio P90 processor and two 2-megapixel depth sensors instead of 1 telephoto camera and 1 depth sensor. Lastly, the Reno 2F is the most affordable of the bunch and will use a 48-megapixel ISOCELL GM1 main camera.

As for pricing, the Reno 2 is rumored to be under RS 35,000(~Php 25.8k), while the Reno 2Z and 2F will be under RS 25,000(~Php 18.4k) and RS 20,000(~Php 14.8k) respectively.
