Aside from officially launching the OPPO A83 during last night’s New Year Party, OPPO had a mystery box contest where the prize is a never-before-seen OPPO phone. It turns out that the mystery phone is a special F5 that comes with a “Dashing Blue” rear.
As of this writing, the “Dashing Blue” F5 is a one-of-a-kind model, and Jam Ancheta of Jamonline.ph was the winner of this rare gem.
Aside from the glimmering metallic blue rear and a blue box, the “Dashing Blue” F5 has the same specs as the regular F5.

While it is the first time we saw this in the flesh, OPPO actually teased the “Dashing Blue” F5 in Indonesia and Malaysia a few days ago. According to reports, this special edition model is slated to arrive on Valentines’ day, and that the use of the color blue is to represent the “purity of love”. Ain’t that sweet?
