The Reno5 Gets a 4G Variant

Same Reno4 4G internals, but with better features

Just like with the Reno3 and Reno4 series, the Reno5 series also gets a global, 4G version as well. While some may be dismayed that the Reno5 4G has the same internals as the Reno4 4G—Snapdragon 720G, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and almost the same set of rear camera snappers (8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, 2-megapixel macro camera, 2-megapixel monochrome camera), OPPO made sure that the Reno5 is something worth considering.

Some key upgrades to the Reno5 4G include:

  • An updated 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 90hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB coverage on light mode, and 93% DCI-P3 on Vivid Mode;
  • Support for Full HD resolution with Netflix and Amazon Prime;
  • A higher-resolution 44-megapixel selfie snapper;
  • A higher-resolution 64-megapixel f/1.7 main rear camera;
  • A bigger 4300mAh battery; and
  • 50w wired charging (with a 65w charger out of the box).

The Reno5 4G will launch first in Vietnam for VND 8,690,000(~Php 18k). Don’t forget to check out Isa Does Tech’s unboxing of the Reno5 4G below:
